Account

HireMarq is a resume and application tool at hiremarq.com. You can create an account with email and a password, or with Google. Google sign-in uses the verified email on that Google account and links it to an existing HireMarq account when the addresses match.

We store your name, email, a password hash when you set a password, your language choice, and the sign-in session. We do not receive your Google password.

Resume and job data

The profile you build can include notes you type, a LinkedIn profile URL, LinkedIn text or a PDF export you paste or upload, and an existing resume file. From that material we store a structured profile: experience, education, skills, projects, and links. We also store job descriptions you paste or that we fetch, tailored resumes, cover letters, and an application log from the browser extension.

A LinkedIn URL is fetched only as a best effort. Pasted text and file exports are the reliable path. We do not ask the model to invent employers, dates, or metrics that are not in what you provided.

Model processing

To structure a profile, tailor a resume and cover letter, rewrite a bullet, or plan how to fill an application form, HireMarq sends the relevant text to the language-model provider configured for the service. That provider processes the text to return the result. Do not include information in your profile that you do not want sent for that purpose.

Payments

Subscriptions are billed by Stripe. HireMarq receives customer and subscription identifiers, status, and billing alerts. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored in HireMarq. Checkout and the billing portal are hosted by Stripe.

Browser extension

The HireMarq extension reads the application form open in your browser, including labels, field types, and file inputs, and can see into open shadow roots and frames. It sends a compact snapshot of that form, plus your profile or tailored documents, to HireMarq so a plan can be made for each field. It then fills fields in the page and can attach the resume or cover letter you generated.

The extension checks that your subscription is active before it fills a form. It uses a token you create in the app. Fill-and-review leaves submit to you. Auto-submit sends the form only when you chose that mode for the job and nothing was flagged.

Cookies and retention

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A locale cookie remembers English or Spanish. You can ask us to delete your account and the profile, jobs, and application log stored with it by emailing [email protected].
